Deli/Bakery Assistant at SPAR Arden Road

We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Deli/Bakery Assistant at SPAR Arden Road on a full time basis. You will play a key role in providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our deli department and our Greens & Co. concession. This position offers flexible working hours.

The Role:

• Prepare and serve a variety of deli/bakery products

• Assist customers in selecting deli/bakery items and provide recommendations based on their preferences

• Maintain a clean and organised deli counter, ensuring that all products are displayed attractively

• Monitor and manage inventory levels, rotating stock to ensure freshness

• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of our products and customers

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the deli department

The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for food and customer service, as well as strong communication and organisational skills. Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is preferred, but not required.
