The position is for a 4-star country house hotel, located in Connemara, County Galway, Ireland.

It is a family-run and historic hotel, offering a high-quality hospitality experience focused on nature, relaxation, and traditional Irish cuisine. The business is as follows:

· Offering accommodation to guests from Ireland and international visitors in a scenic and peaceful setting

· Offering quality dining through a hotel restaurant and bar, with a focus on fresh, local and seasonal products

· Providing a relaxing and authentic Irish experience for both guests and visitors

You will be working in the kitchen, as a Starter / Cold Kitchen Chef.

Duties involve:

· Preparing starters, cold dishes, salads, and appetizers

· Ensuring high presentation and quality standards for all cold kitchen dishes

· Assisting the kitchen team with daily food preparation

· Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen

· Organizing ingredients and managing stock for the cold section

· Following kitchen procedures and health & safety standards

Requirements

· Good level of English required (minimum conversational level)

· Previous experience in kitchen (cold section experience is a plus): 0 to 3 years

· Interest in gastronomy and motivation to learn

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Team player with a positive attitude

· Be able to work legally in Ireland
