Design Coordinator

We seek a competent and experienced Design Coordinator to join our team at Wills Bros. The successful applicant will be working on site-based Design & Build (Civil/Infrastructure) schemes in the Dublin area.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical submissions for clients, including design submissions, value engineering and handover documents.
• Collaborate with design consultancies during design development, working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Interface with estimating teams to develop buildable solutions.
• Interpret client requirements and develop detailed design strategies.
• Assist Design Managers in overseeing and managing the design process on schemes.
• Drive value engineering and ensure delivery of the consultant’s deliverables.
• Support, understand, and advise clients on design requirements and obligations during design development.
• Ensure design compliance with current legislation, standards, and codes of practice.
• Maintain design quality and adhere to project timescales.

Requirements:

• Civil Engineering Degree.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Proficient in civil design, capable of undertaking designs with minimal or moderate guidance.
• Familiar with meeting standards and specifications.
• Capable of working within time and cost targets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
