Co-operative Housing Ireland is the national organisation representing, promoting and developing co-operative housing in Ireland. Since our foundation in 1973 we have provided over 5,700 homes through homeownership, shared ownership and social rented co-operatives. As an Approved Housing Body (AHB), we work with various stakeholders in the housing sector, including Local Authorities, Government, aspiring homeowners, tenants and developers. We currently manage over 6,708 properties across Ireland.
Role:
Co-operative Housing Ireland is seeking a full time “Development Officer” to join our New Business Development division. The Development Officer will work 35 hours work per week, Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 and report to the Development Officer, Team Leader. The Development Officer will be based in our Blanchardstown Office, located at The Generali Building, Navan Road, Dublin.
The Development Officer will actively contribute to Co-operative Housing Ireland’s development projects from beginning to completion. The primary role involves liaising with internal and external stakeholders to secure funding for projects. The Development Officer will play a role from the introduction of a new development to Co-operative Housing Ireland, right through to completion and the handover of homes to member tenants. The Development Officer will play a key role in maintaining Co-operative Housing Ireland’s commitment to Ireland’s housing needs.
