Job Description - Director of Nursing

RecruitNet International Ltd is hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) for a Nursing Home in Co Meath, Ireland.

Responsibilities

Upkeep of administrative processes when the administrator is not present.

Keeping an eye on administrative processes.

Awareness of the resident's revenue from fees, funding sources, outstanding fees, personal stipend, and financial documentation.

Overseeing the budget of the Community Unit.

Recognise the legal requirements for the financial affairs of individuals with mental impairments

Hold frequent communication meetings with every member of the clinical staff.

Build strong relationships with outside community organizations to invite the neighbourhood into the home and make it easier for the residents to participate in events and activities there.

Communicate with Marketing to make the most of chances and guarantee that the Home is well-known in the neighbourhood.

Keep an eye on all complaints and make sure they are all documented with the investigation's findings.

Requirements

Qualified RGN who has provided care for an elderly person for at least three of the previous six years.

A post-registration management degree in medicine or a similar discipline.

Three years or more of management experience in the health and social care sector.

Registered in the relevant NMBI live registration section.

Proven track record in healthcare clinical management.

Excellent Leadership, Organisational and Communication skills.
