Job Description - Director of Nursing




RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.








RecruitNet International Ltd is hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) for a Nursing Home in Co Meath, Ireland.



        Responsibilities




  • Upkeep of administrative processes when the administrator is not present.



  • Keeping an eye on administrative processes.



  • Awareness of the resident's revenue from fees, funding sources, outstanding fees, personal stipend, and financial documentation.



  • Overseeing the budget of the Community Unit.



  • Recognise the legal requirements for the financial affairs of individuals with mental impairments



  • Hold frequent communication meetings with every member of the clinical staff.




  • Build strong relationships with outside community organizations to invite the neighbourhood into the home and make it easier for the residents to participate in events and activities there.


  • Communicate with Marketing to make the most of chances and guarantee that the Home is well-known in the neighbourhood.


  • Keep an eye on all complaints and make sure they are all documented with the investigation's findings.











Requirements











  • Qualified RGN who has provided care for an elderly person for at least three of the previous six years.



  • A post-registration management degree in medicine or a similar discipline.



  • Three years or more of management experience in the health and social care sector.



  • Registered in the relevant NMBI live registration section.




  • Proven track record in healthcare clinical management.



  • Excellent Leadership, Organisational and Communication skills.
