Job Description - Director of Nursing

RecruitNet International Ltd is hiring an Director of Nursing (DON) for a Nursing home in Co Cork, Ireland.

Responsibilities

The Quality of Care System of the Company.

Home-based clinical practice complies with standards and regulations.

Clinical practice is monitored using resident-specific care plans.

Carrying out internal audits and monitoring their outcomes.

Employee onboarding, as well as continuing education and training.

Promotion of creative methods.

Ensuring that the company's and HIQA's standards, processes, and guidelines are followed.

Requirements

Qualified RGN who has provided care for an elderly person for at least three of the previous six years.

A post-registration management degree in medicine or a similar discipline.

Three years or more of management experience in the health and social care sector.

Registered in the relevant NMBI live registration section.

Demonstrated success in clinical management in healthcare.

Outstanding organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.

Good decision-making skills and a focus on outcomes.

Good understanding of financial matters.

The capacity to work independently and inspire oneself and others.
