Job Description - Director Of Nursing

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.

RecruitNet International Ltd is hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) for a Nursing Home in Co Kilkenny Ireland.

Responsibilities

Respect all applicable NMBI rules and regulations.

Be "on-call" to cover shifts in the event that all other options have been exhausted and to respond to situations that may occur within the nursing home.

Make sure that no confidential information obtained while working is shared with outside parties.

Help with the arrangements and gain understanding about how residents can access cash from the government and other organizations.

Answer the Regional Director directly.

Maintain the nursing home's security at all times, and periodically examine its rules and procedures to

Respect all company rules and guidelines within the allotted time frames.

Make sure every piece of equipment is kept up to date and clean.

Carry out any additional duties that might be logically delegated to you.

Requirements

Current Registration with the N.M.B.I.

In the last six years, at least three years of experience caring for elderly patients Three years of experience working as a manager

A healthcare management post-registration degree or its equivalent

Capacity for successful communication at all levels

A team member with leadership skills is well-versed in the aging process
