Basic Function & Purpose of the Role
As part of Core Operations, the Draw Operations team ensure all Draw Based Games are planned and executed accurately and in compliance with the relevant procedures and standards.
Reporting to the Draw Operations Manager the Draw Operations Assistant will be a key member of the draw team ensuring all draws are conducted in compliance with the National Lottery Licence and World Lottery Association (WLA) Standards. The Draw Operations Assistant will support the wider Draw Team in the management of draw equipment and draw documentation both within Company HQ and Offsite.
Responsibilities of the Job-Holder
Main Tasks
- National Lottery draw activities as required to conduct one of the main draw functions (Draw Manager, Assistant Draw Manager, Security Manager, DP Manager, DISO). Due to the timing of National Lottery draws attendance outside normal office hours will be necessary and forms part of the role both on a pre-defined rota basis and standby support nature.
- Support the day-to-day management of all draw related company draw equipment to ensure fit for purpose and properly maintained.
- Support in the oversight of the draw facilities at television studio location, Company HQ and Business Continuity Centre; including storage facilities
- Administrative support of all company draw related records.
- Supporting the Draw Operations Manager in the review of processes ensuring compliance with Licence and WLA standards.
- Assist in the testing on new developments and improvements to electronic draw control processes.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
· A diploma or certificate in electronics is preferable but not essential.
· Minimum of 1 years’ experience within an operations function
Relevant Experience
· Experience in a compliance/regulated industry
· Project Management/Planning skills an advantage
· Proficient users of Microsoft Office products, particularly MS Word and Excel.
