Electrical Tester

Fohntech Group are currently looking for a number of Electrical Tester to join their team in Dublin. As an Electrical Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of electrical installations in line with national regulations and standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Act as Qualified Certifier for the verification, inspection, and certification of electrical installations in compliance with IS10101 National Wiring Rules and CER requirements.
  
• Perform full electrical testing of panels, circuits, fire alarm systems, and live systems in accordance with the technical rules.
  
• Complete and maintain accurate inspection and test records on prescribed forms of certification and reporting.
  
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements and company standards on site.
  
• Safeguard unused certificates against loss, theft, or unauthorized use.
  
• Support and mentor apprentices, fostering a positive learning culture on site.
  

Required Skills:

• Formal Electrical trade qualification (Certification required)
  
• 3 -5 Years Experience
  
• Safepass and Manual handling training
  

Desired skills / Experience:

• Medium Voltage (MV) experience
  
• Large scale pharmaceutical or data centre experience
  
• Electrical testing experience
  
• IPAF MEWP Licence
