Purpose of the Role
The Financial and Operations Controller for EMEA will oversee financial controllership, regulatory and prudential reporting, safeguarding compliance, and operational resilience across the region, including the Irish entity (OFXIE) and other EMEA entities. You will ensure that the business maintains sound financial and operational control frameworks in line with the Central Bank of Ireland’s requirements and relevant EU directives such as PSD2/EMD2.
Reporting to the Assistant Group Financial Controller and Chief Executive Officer (OFXIE), this role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting aligned with Group policies and local regulatory requirements, maintains strong internal controls, supports statutory and tax compliance, and contributes to regional and global finance operations, including integration of OFX’s new client platform (NCP).
This dual role encompasses both:
You will act as a key member of the regional Senior Management Team, providing strategic leadership on all financial and operational matters, supporting the OFXIE Board and other governance committees in maintaining the ongoing financial and operational soundness of the entities.
