At AECOM  we are currently recruiting for an Energy Marshall to join us at our Dublin office.

Here’s what you’ll do: 

Your day to day will include but not be limited to the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the energization of electrical systems in a safe and controlled manner.

• Ensure compliance with all energy safety standards, procedures, and commissioning protocols.

• Act as the single point of contact for all matters related to energy system readiness and energization.

• Review electrical designs, energization plans, and method statements to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies.

• Collaborate with engineering, construction, safety, and commissioning teams to manage energy-related tasks.

• Ensure Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures are followed during system commissioning.

• Maintain detailed documentation of all energization activities, tests, inspections, and incidents.

• Conduct or support energy safety training and awareness initiatives on site.

• Participate in Root Cause Analyses for any energy-related incidents or failures.

• Monitor and verify the performance of energy systems, including backup systems, UPS, and generators.

Here’s what we’re looking for: 

As the successful candidate you will have experience working within our data center markets along with having the following qualfications and experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5+ years of experience in electrical systems, commissioning, or energy management in a complex industrial or data center environment.

• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA, and other applicable safety standards.

• Experience with HV and LV systems, UPS, generators, and power distribution systems.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
