Job Description - Energy Trading Manager

On behalf of our client, a reputable energy firm in Dublin, we are looking to hire a Trading Manager to join their Dublin team.

Responsibilities of the Role:

Lead and manage a short-term energy trading team to optimise positions and deliver financial performance.
Oversee trading operations, ensuring robust systems, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management
Coordinate the integration and management of trading services for large-scale renewable energy projects.
Build strong stakeholder relationships, drive innovation, and promote a positive, high-performing team culture.

Requirements of the Role:

Minimum 7 years’ experience in electricity/gas/commodity markets with strong commercial acumen.
Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and team development skills.
Strong analytical, numerical, and communication abilities with operational risk awareness.
Relevant 3rd level degree (Business, Science, Engineering) or equivalent work experience.
