As an EPC Construction Programme Scheduler, you will play a central role in the planning, development, and ongoing management of project schedules for utility-scale solar PV projects. Working within a dynamic EPC environment, you will be responsible for the preparation of tender, contract, and construction programmes, monthly updates, resource planning, and forecasting. Your work will ensure contractual compliance, timely delivery, and cost control while supporting claims and risk mitigation strategies.

Key Accountabilities

1. Programme Development & Management

  • Develop fully integrated Tender Programmes in support of EPC bids using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Translate tender schedules into Contract Programmes compliant with FIDIC or other standard contract forms.
  • Produce and maintain detailed Construction Programmes, aligned with engineering, procurement, and commissioning phases.
  • Include critical path analysis, interface management, and subcontractor timelines.

2. Progress Monitoring & Client Reporting

  • Manage monthly updates of the construction programme in collaboration with site teams and engineers.
  • Issue monthly reports to the client, including earned value analysis (EVA), look-aheads, and highlighted deviations.
  • Ensure programme updates support contractual obligations and serve as a defence against delay claims.
  • Record delay events and support the preparation of Extension of Time (EoT) claims and disruption analyses.

3. Resource & Cash Flow Planning

  • Develop and maintain labour and equipment resource schedules, ensuring alignment with delivery plans.
  • Generate cash flow forecasts tied to the construction programme to support commercial planning.
  • Integrate procurement schedules to align with construction milestones and material delivery timelines.

4. Communication & Coordination

  • Interface with Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, and the Commercial Team to coordinate updates.
  • Lead planning workshops and contribute to weekly/monthly progress meetings both internally and with clients.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to gather programme input and align external schedules.

5. Programme Governance & Controls

  • Maintain baseline schedule and control logs for revisions and approvals.
  • Support the development of risk-adjusted schedules using float and contingency analysis.
  • Ensure all schedules follow company programme control standards and are auditable.
  • Additional Duties as assigned by your manager
