Job Description - Estimator Joinery Fit out

If you have a passion for precision, experience in estimating joinery/cabinetry projects, and thrive in a fast -paced environment, we want to hear from you! We are searching for an estimator to join our manufacturing clients team in Co Meath.

What You'll do

Prepare and issue detailed estimates for the manufacture and installation of bespoke joinery.

Prepare accurate material take -offs from AutoCAD drawings and costing accordingly

Identify and calculate labour, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, drawings, specifications, and related documents.

Identify cost potential (Value Engineering) through tender and costing process

Engage with supply chain for costs, comparison and evaluation of all costs received

Produce estimates that fulfil tender requirements

Identify, cost and submit variations for approval

Develop good client relations through supporting clients through the bid and tender process

Requirements

What You'll need

Experience in estimating for the manufacture and installation of bespoke joinery and or architectural metalwork

Exceptional knowledge of specialist joinery design and construction including materials, manufacture and finishing procedures

Experience and proficient in Ms Office Suite

Demonstrable experience of using estimating software

Experience reading AutoCAD

Excellent communication skills
