Our system touches every point of the salon experience. We process 200k online bookings per month and over 150 custom built white label native apps.
Join Phorest in an exciting role that offers the chance to develop a career in Finance. As part of our Finance Team, you will play a key role in customer service and Credit Collections for our DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
Being a global SAAS offering we have clients located in many regions around the world, including Ireland, UK, US, Australia and Germany. This will not phase the candidate who will be looking after clients in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Fluent German and strong English language skills are a must.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing client billing enquiries, client administration, and credit control, maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams, and contributing to the improvement of billing and internal processes. The role is based in either Cologne, Germany or Ireland (ideally Dublin commuter area) and reports to the Finance Customer Manager, who sits in Dublin, Ireland.
Manage client billing administration and respond to queries daily
Oversee Credit Collection in the DACH region
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams
Collaborate with managers and team leaders to adhere to timelines
Handle challenging client conversations with professionalism
Plan and execute improvements to the billing and internal processes
Work on various projects with the Global Finance Team
While the primary focus of this role is on the DACH region, the successful candidate should be open to assistance and collaboration with other regions based on business needs and priorities.
2+ years of professional experience in a customer-facing role,debt collection or similar experience is a plus
A college degree in a relevant field is a plus but not mandatory
Native-level German and strong English language skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Experience in resolving difficult billing situations with customers, by phone and email
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong communication, planning, and prioritisation abilities
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities, showing reliability and commitment to the job
Ability to think outside the box and come up with creative and innovative solutions to challenges
Strong administrative skills with a robust attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks
Capable of working independently and structuring their own schedule effectively, managing time and tasks.
