Role Description:

• Preparation and review of month‑end financial reporting, including hedge fund incentive calculations and closed‑ended fund carry allocations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and investor‑grade quality.


• Review management accounts received from service providers ensuring accuracy with accounting standards in each jurisdiction


• Act as a key accounting contact at the point of transaction for new investments, providing insight and input into deal structures from an accounting perspective


• Manage and coordinate the annual audit process, building strong relationships with auditors and delivering high‑quality audit packages and supporting analysis.


• Support the preparation and review of quarterly and annual regulatory filings across multiple global regulatory regimes. Assist with transactional work such as restructuring, corporate actions and re-orgs


• Oversee cash reconciliation reviews and ensure strong controls and completeness across positions, accruals, and journal entries.


• Contribute to a range of transactional initiatives, including restructurings, corporate actions, re‑orgs, and special situations. Identify weaknesses and inefficiencies in existing processes and provide recommendations for improvement


• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies with urgency and precision, ensuring timely escalation and communication.


• Play an active role in cross‑functional initiatives focused on automation, process enhancement, and the integration of AI tools into the finance ecosystem.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with strong academic history


• 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience in public accounting/auditing


• CPA/ACA/ACCA required


• Private Equity or Hedge fund exposure preferably


• IFRS and US GAAP knowledge


• Strong Excel skills


• Knowledge of Advent Geneva and Alteryx preferable


• Proven analytical skills
