Hunter Savage are delighted to support a leading manufacturer, based in Co. Dublinwho are seeking a Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day aspects of the finance function and report to the Finance Director.

The Role:

• Manage day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.
• Oversee all financial transactions, including Accounts Payable and Credit Control functions up to trial balance level.
• Contribute to process optimisation and automation initiatives to enhance system efficiency.
• Forecast and manage cash flow on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly management accounts, including KPI analysis for Board review and approval.
• Efficiently manage Accounts Payable and Credit Control functions, ensuring timely payments and debt recovery.
• Assist in budget preparation, along with monthly and quarterly profit and loss forecasts.
• Coordinate year-end auditing processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

The Person:

• Demonstrate significant financial accounting experience up to management level.
• Possess a Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or equivalent experience.
• Show proficiency in accounting software such as SAP B1 and Excel.
• Display a strong grasp of finance systems and requisite controls.
• Exhibit a thorough understanding of accounting principles and processes.
• Excel in accuracy and attention to detail within a fast-paced finance environment.
