Job Description - Financial Accountant

Our client is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its expanding finance function. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing management accounts, supporting financial planning, and ensuring strong financial control across multiple entities gaining great exposure to Residential, Commercial and Hospitality construction projects.

Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports.
Oversee bank reconciliations, supplier payments, and cost allocation across business units.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management processes.
Assist with year -end financial statements, audit preparation, and statutory compliance.

Requirements:

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 1 - 3+ years’ post -qualified experience.
Strong financial reporting and management accounting skills.
Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem -solving abilities.
Proficiency in Sage or similar accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
