Job Description - Financial Accountant

Our client is a family -owned property investment and management group with a strong presence across Munster and Leinster. Their business spans property investment, management, and lettings, delivering high -quality accommodation solutions.

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their growing team. This is a hands -on position with exposure to multiple aspects of financial management in the property investment sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing investment performance, and supporting the operational and strategic goals of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance – Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts, ensuring compliance with Irish accounting standards and relevant tax regulations.
Property & Investment Accounting – Manage financial records for residential, commercial, and hospitality properties, including rent roll reconciliations, investment analysis, and profitability reporting.
Cash Flow & Budget Management – Oversee cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support effective decision -making across the group.
Audit & Stakeholder Liaison – Act as a key point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners, ensuring accurate reporting and smooth year -end processes.

Candidate Requirements

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with experience in property, real estate, or investment management.
Strong knowledge of Irish accounting standards, tax compliance, and financial reporting processes.
Proven ability to manage multiple entities and property portfolios, with attention to detail and commercial awareness.
Hands -on, adaptable, and proactive approach, with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
