Job Description - Finishing Manager - Internals

Role: Finishing Manager

Projects: Large-scale Commercial

Essentials: Construction Degree; 5-10+ years' experience with a Main Contractor in Ireland or the UK ; Strong experience managing internal fit-out and finishing trades.

Location: West Cork

Salary: €65,000 - €80,000

Package: Company car, pension, and more.

Reporting into: Project Manager

Take ownership of all internal fit-out and finishing works, ensuring they are delivered to programme and the highest quality standards.

Coordinate and manage finishing subcontractors, driving productivity while maintaining excellent Health & Safety and housekeeping across site.

Lead quality assurance activities, including inspections, snagging, BIM-enabled QA/QC processes, and close-out of non-conformances.

Monitor short-term programmes, material deliveries, and daily progress, identifying and resolving issues to maintain project milestones.

Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the wider site team to ensure smooth coordination of finishing activities.

Drive successful project completion through effective snag management, quality control, and preparation for testing, commissioning, and handover.
