Title: Flavour Operative - Evening Shift Function: Operations Reporting to: Team Captain Location: Ashbourne, Co. Meath Role type: Full-time, Permanent
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for filling flavour applicators with 25kg flavour bags to ensure optimum efficiency on the production line.
Responsible for the H&S, Hygiene and Housekeeping in your area in line with company standards.
Contribute to the performance of all the production shifts through one way of working.
Responsible for FTQ and all Quality control parameters linked to production for your area of work.
Recording/inputting all data in your area of work through paperwork and/or FMES.
Ensure Efficiency in your area – to maximize total output from all forms of process/packing machinery through effective communication with the Line Lead, Maintenance Lead, Process Lead and Team Captains on an ongoing basis to identify improvements.
Monitoring and delivering total hourly efficiency of your area of work.
Responsible for inspection of your work area to ensure machinery is left in its standard working condition that is in line with company best practices.
KEY SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES / CORE COMPETENCIES:
Pro-active team player.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of all equipment within the specified area including machinery up and downstream in the operation.
Good knowledge of product specifications and companies CCP’s.
Good communicational skills and willingness to actively listen.
Desire to learn new skills and improve our way of working.
REQUIREMENTS:
Manual handling training is desirable.
Minimum 6 months experience in a production environment.
Excellent communication skills; ability to liaise with varying management at all levels, both internal and external.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated.
Problem-solving skills.
Well organised.
Willing to undertake personal development training.
