Our client is a renowned international organisation operating within the drinks industry and one of the largest suppliers in the USA. As part of a strategic 5-year business plan, they are seeking an ambitious Financial Analyst to support their international development. Role will play a key part in P&L management, data analysis and business insights. Role Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to build profitability models and recommend appropriate level of investment, based on annual brand plans submitted by importers.
• Profitability and pricing analysis to facilitate price increases and collaborate with senior stakeholders on price benchmarking & action planning.
• Have oversight of the Advertising & Promotion process within the international division, to include the monitoring of expenses, computation of monthly accruals, and validation of customer claims against earned funds.
• Using Power BI templates, perform financial analysis of distributors' depletion and stockholding submissions.
• Assist with development of systems and processes to enhance planning, A&P, and pricing strategies.
• Assist in the annual sales budget process, creating standardized templates for customer sharing, followed by a thorough review, analysis, and recommendation of proposed plans for management approval.
• Maintain and update long-term financial plans within the corporate forecasting system.
• Ensure compliance with local and group reporting in relation to Finance and Tax.
• Perform month-end activities including preparation of journals, reconciling of accounts and preparation of management accounts for review by Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting.
• Support the implementation of Internal Controls and reporting on compliance to Group.
• Preparation and filing of all indirect tax returns. Liaising with Tax Director in relation to any tax related matters.
• Support Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting and International FP&A Analyst in Financial Planning and Analysis activities.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects, offering well-informed recommendations to enhance effectiveness and boost sales, revenues, and customer satisfaction.
• Qualified or finalist accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA).
• Minimum 2 years financial analysis within industry.
• Advanced analytical skills
• Possess strong systems skills, including advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Power BI is preferred.
• Highly motivated, organized, and self-directed individual results oriented.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Passion and personal accountability for maintaining high standards in his/her work.
