The Global SVE team are seeking an FPGA Emulation Engineer to provide end\u2011to\u2011end technical ownership of FPGA\u2011based emulation platforms, flows, and system\u2011level debug. This is a technical role combining deep hands\u2011on expertise with cross\u2011site technical leadership, mentoring, and platform evolution.\n\n*Please note this role will require 5 days per week onsite in our Cork office*\n\nThe role includes:\n\n\u00b7 Deliver FPGA\u2011based emulation solutions across commercial emulation platforms including FPGA prototyping, Veloce, and Palladium\n\n\u00b7 Drive emulation build flows, including synthesis, place \u0026 route, constraints, clocking, and timing closure.\n\n\u00b7 Lead system\u2011level debug using waveforms, instrumentation, and content\u2011level analysis to support SoC bring\u2011up.\n\n\u00b7 Lead or contribute to bring\u2011up of new FPGA emulation and prototyping hardware and software.\n\n\u00b7 Collaborate closely with design, validation, software, and CAD teams across global sites.\n\n\u00b7 Engage with EDA vendors and represent the team in cross\u2011functional and executive technical forums.\n\n\u00b7 Mentor and technically lead junior engineers.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n\u00b7 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field\n\n\u00b7 5+ years of hands\u2011on experience in FPGA design, verification, emulation, or related domains\n\n\u00b7 Strong experience with SystemVerilog/RTL/HDL\n\n\u00b7 Hands\u2011on experience with AMD/Xilinx UltraScale, UltraScale+, MPSoC.
