We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Fresh Foods Manager to join our team at SPAR Prosperous.

This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering the opportunity to showcase your skills in managing a busy deli environment and leading a team of staff members.

The Role:

• Oversee the daily operations of the fresh foods department, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality

• Manage and train staff members to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and organised workspace

• Implement and maintain HACCP standards, with a minimum requirement of HACCP level 3 training

• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies

• Develop and update menus based on customer preferences and seasonal availability

• Responsible for pricing strategies to maximize profitability while offering competitive pricing to customers

• Conduct regular stocktakes to monitor inventory levels and minimise waste
