Job Description
- Responsible for supporting key business applications and IT systems
- Responding to user queries and providing support for software and application issues.
- Taking ownership and resolving issues, identifying root cause and developing solutions to prevent recurrence
- Compiling use cases and eliciting user requirements for the development of technical solutions;
- Cooperating with other teams across LGT to standardize and simplify procedures across the organization;
- Develop and maintain user guides and other training material to support users; and
- Participating in and evaluating business uses for new technologies introduced.
- On successful integration, the role will naturally evolve into a Business Analyst position post 12-18 months in applications support
Requirements
- University degree in finance/accounting and/or IT with business or similar qualification;
- Prior work experience in funds industry an asset;
- Knowledge of fund industry business tools an asset, (experience with Investran a big plus)
- Strong skills associated with process analysis, information flow and problem solving;
- Deliver in an environment with high expectations and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Manage your time well, adapting to dynamic situations and priorities.
- Troubleshooting of user problems and coordination with IT
