The Role

We are currently seeking a General Operative to support our HVAC Installation Engineers on-site. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the HVAC or construction industry, gaining hands-on experience across a range of projects.

You will assist with the installation of HVAC systems while working as part of a skilled and supportive team, ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC Engineers with the installation of air conditioning and ventilation systems
• Support with general site duties including lifting, carrying, and positioning equipment and materials
• Assist with pipework, bracket installation, basic cabling and other mechanical tasks under supervision
• Prepare tools, materials and work areas to ensure efficient installation work
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment on site at all times
• Follow health and safety procedures and site requirements
• Work collaboratively with engineers, site managers and other trades on-site
• Learn and develop skills in HVAC installation with a view to progressing in the role

What We Look For

Required

• Previous experience in construction, general labouring or a similar hands-on role
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
• Good awareness of health and safety on construction sites
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a site-based environment

Desirable

• Interest in pursuing a career in HVAC or mechanical trades
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in construction or mechanical work
• Full, clean Irish driving licence.
