Our Kepak Cork site is based in Watergrasshill, Co. Cork — just 35 minutes from Cork City and 20 minutes from Fermoy — offering a strong, supportive workplace in a well‑established facility.

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team at Kepak Cork. Kepak Cork is now recruiting for roles within our Abattoir Department, where you will play an important part in our production operations.
Working hours:
Abattoir: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 7 am to 5 pm, Tuesdays & Thursdays 9 am to 5 pm (approximately)
Requirements
What to expect in the job?
As part of the factory's abattoir team, the successful candidate will produce cuts and trims of meat according to Kepak specifications, maintaining efficiency at line speed.
The role involves meeting production targets in a fast-paced environment while ensuring quality standards are met.
What we need from you?
Successful candidates will join our factory processing team, contributing to the production of meat products and supporting daily and weekly output targets. We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Key requirements:
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong character: hardworking, self‑motivated, and dependable.
Consistently meet production targets while maintaining the required line speed.
Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods.
Operate machinery safely once full training has been provided.
Prior knife skills and butchery experience in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment are an advantage.
Willingness to learn, take direction, and support additional tasks as required by the Line Supervisor.
Commitment to safety, following all site guidelines and procedures.
Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality.
Effective communication skills to support smooth team operations.
