Global Security Operations Centre Operator

Our client is expanding its operation and is looking for a motivated, customer focused analytical team player to join their 24/7 GSOC operation. Based in Blanchardstown and working for an international client, The Global Security Operations Centre operator will support national and international stakeholders by making the right decisions at the right time. The GSOC Operator is responsible for using best practices to identify, investigate and support all incidents that will either impact or potentially impact the business, the brand, assets and or employees.

About the role:

The GSOC supports Global offices. This is a challenging and exciting chance to join a dynamic and progressive team, with multiple responsibilities which include but are not limited to:

• Monitor alarms and video equipment including fire alarms, door alarms, and duress alarms.
• Provide general assistance to both employees and guests.
• Maintain and enhance security and safety.
• Conduct investigations and analysis on internal and external incidents. 
• Dispatch security officers, ERT, facilities, Local Emergency Services and EMS personnel as required via telephone and/or radio.
• Maintain various records of communications and events.
• Use multiple internal and external resources to gather and manage information and intelligence about events that are occurring both domestically and internationally that may impact the Client.
• Communicate and disseminate information, using established communication vehicles, to key partners using best practices.
• Perform integral roles in daily operations, supporting the team on a global basis.
• Act as a liaison between the Physical Security Department and relevant stakeholders.
• Escalate (without delay) complaints and unusual/critical event information to the GSOC Lead.
• Perform confidential duties and responsibilities, related to shipping and logistics, managing inventory and various other client specific tasks.

• Advanced computer skills and proficiency, including - Microsoft Office, Genetec, C Cure, access control systems and incident management platforms
• Keen interest in global security risks

Training and Qualifications:

• PSA License
• Previous security operations experience is desirable
