At BAM, we are looking for a Graduate Junior Buyer to join the team. The role will be based in either our BAM Cork Office or our BAM Kildare Head Office.

Making Possible

• Assisting with the procurement process for products and services.


• Supporting sourcing, tendering and RFQ activities. 


• Assisting with supplier management and maintaining supplier information.


• Supporting cost control and purchasing administration.


• Working with internal stakeholders to support supply chain efficiencies and continuity of supply.


• Maintaining and updating procurement systems and records.


• All administrative tasks involved in the procurement and buying process.

What do you bring to the role?

• Experience in a similar role is advantageous, but not essential.


• 3rd level college degree in Business, Business Management, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.


• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office & data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SAP). 


• Experience using procurement software or ERP systems would be preferred.


• Excellent communication skills.


• Strong attention to detail and time management skills. 


• Ability to manage competing priorities to strict deadlines.


• Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders.
