Job Description - Graphic Designer

Job Title: Graphic Designer

Employer: Alternative Experiences

Location: 3 Queen St, Smithfield, Dublin 7, D07 K577

Salary: €36,605 p.a.

Hours: 39 hrs p/w

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce visual assets including branding materials, illustrations, posters, merchandise, and

digital content.

• Develop and maintain consistent brand identity across web, social media, print, and physical experiences.

• Create engaging visual content for social media campaigns, websites, and digital storytelling.

• Prepare production -ready artwork for printing, embroidery, and merchandise applications where required.

• Collaborate with marketing, events, and creative teams to translate concepts into strong visual outputs.

• Support event visuals, signage, and promotional materials linked to tours and cultural experiences.

• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and quality standards.

• Contribute creative ideas to enhance audience engagement and brand visibility.

• Maintain organised digital asset libraries and version control systems.

Requirements

• Relevant certification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.

• Minimum 1 year’s professional experience in graphic design or digital media is desirable.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

• Experience creating digital -first content for social media and web platforms.

• Solid understanding of branding, layout, typography, and visual composition.

• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary creative environments.

• Strong communication, organisational, and problem -solving skills.

• Experience in cultural, tourism, creative, or events -based organisations is highly desirable.
