Responsibilities

• Excavate and prepare sites for construction projects, including the digging of trenches and holes.
• Carry out manual labor activities such as shoveling, sweeping, and operating basic hand tools.
• Assist in the installation of underground utilities and drainage systems according to plans and specifications.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other workers on-site to meet project deadlines and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient operations.
• Report any issues or discrepancies to the site supervisor promptly.

• Proven experience as a Ground Worker or similar role in civil engineering or construction.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Ability to operate various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform heavy lifting as required.
• Familiarity with site safety protocols and ability to follow safety instructions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and on flexible hours when necessary.
