Teamworx are proud to be recruiting a Head Chef for their client in Dublin 18 - one of south Dublin's most beloved and well-established gastro pubs. A prominent landmark incorporating 2 bars and 2 restaurants at the foothills of the Dublin Mountains. Famous for its food, its atmosphere and its place at the heart of the local community. Known for fantastic food served all day, 7 days a week, constantly buzzing atmosphere, this is a high-volume, high-energy kitchen with a loyal and growing customer base.

This is a serious Head Chef role with real ownership, a strong team, and the backing of an established, community-focused business.

The Role

• Lead and inspire the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food across a high-volume, 7-day operation
  


• Drive menu development - seasonal, fresh and in keeping with the premises reputation for quality gastro pub food
  


• Manage food costs, GP targets, stock control, procurement and labour budgets
  


• Maintain full HACCP, HSE and food safety compliance
  


• Work closely with management on culinary direction and future development
  

The Person

• Proven Head Chef experience in a high-volume gastro pub or casual dining environment
  


• Commercially sharp with a strong understanding of food costing and GP management
  


• A hands-on leader who builds and retains strong kitchen teams
  


• Passionate about quality, consistency and guest experience
  


• Culinary qualification and solid food safety knowledge essential
