Head of Software Development

Hi, My client is a platform provider, designed specifically for organizations with highly mobile workers that must travel domestically to do their jobs. It allows users to book appropriate lodging, track costs, and combine spending and offering a full tech solution supported by "above and beyond" customer care. They are looking for a Head of Software Development to contribute to the development of a product that thousands of businesses use globally and ownership of third-party systems to integrate with client's CRM and ASP.NET applications and build out a team of engineers, drive strategies and best practise across the department. This is a Dublin based hybrid role, with 2 days per week onsite. Responsibilities:

• To ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions, managing a team of software developers involves planning, monitoring, and quality control. Ensure that projects are appropriately estimated and completed on time.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives. Giving technical guidance and collaborating closely with the project management group to comprehend specifications, schedule the development process, and establish objectives.
  In charge of creating and designing software solutions that support the entire development lifecycle
  
  

Requirements:

• Prior management or leadership experience, preferably in the software development industry.
• Have led a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining top-tier software solutions using .NET C# and ASP.NET MVC.
• Put into practice and maximize Agile approaches (Scrum/Kanban) to foster productivity and efficiency.
• A track record of success in promoting process changes and cultivating an innovative and high-achieving culture.
