Job Description - Health & Safety Officer - Intermediate

Role: Health & Safety Officer

Client: Tier 1 Main Contractor

Essentials: Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in construction health and safety; qualification in Occupational Health and Safety; IOSH membership preferred

Location: Dublin

Salary: €55,000 - €60,000

Package: Annual bonuses, pension, health insurance, annual salary reviews, life assurance, income protection, travel schemes and more.

Reporting to: Senior Health & Safety Officer

Responsibilities:

Coordinate site Health & Safety activities in line with company policies and procedures.

Monitor workplace hazards and implement effective control measures.

Perform regular safety audits and inspections, tracking compliance and corrective actions.

Ensure all contractors and site personnel operate in accordance with safety regulations.

Support incident reporting, safety briefings, and ongoing H&S improvement programmes.
