HR Business Partner - County Cavan.

In this role you will be part of a high performing, supportive and collaborative HR team. This role will support the HR team and the wider business. As HR Business Partner you will provide comprehensive HR support, partnering with the business and the HR team to build and implement HR solutions in line with business and HR strategy.
This role will require you to work cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment. You will excel in establishing excellent working relationships at all levels both internally and externally and possess exceptional attention to detail.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Effectively support the business in dealing with operational people issues, such as recruitment, attendance and health management, grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations, and hearings.
2. Support and coach all managers and employees in utilising the performance management processes.
3. Successfully manage all Employee Relations issues with timely expert advice and coach people managers from a case management perspective.
4. Provide the Head of HR and Human Resource Director with efficient, timely and accurate information to enable both forward planning and measurement of staffing-related activities.
5. Propose HR initiatives in line with business objectives.
6. Enhance staff performance and support employee development.
7. Maintaining a healthy, safe, and respectful work environment to ensure a level of comfort amongst the employees and to eliminate stress and conflict within employees.
8. Working as a strategic business partner with other department managers and supervisors to ensure HR talent management goals and objectives are achieved.
9. Reviewing and managing any general affairs including office management and company activities.
10. Preparing of Company Policies and ensuring the company handbook is kept up to date.
11. Ensuring labour/disciplinary cases are carried out and in compliance with company policies and due process requirements.
12. Ensuring the strict implementation of the proper imposition of disciplinary action.
13. Providing recommendations on case decisions and appropriate corrective actions.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:
At least 5 years' experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role. Experience in a FMCG environment an advantage, not essential.
• Highly organised and detail oriented.
• Must have highly excellent HR administration and people management skills.
• Possess the ability to drive positive engagement from a diverse and widespread workforce.

• Degree/advanced qualification in Communications/HRM, Business Studies or related discipline.
