HR Generalist - Galway - 12 Month Contract - Hybrid
Responsibilities:
Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and preparing offer letters.
Provide HR support and guidance to employees and managers on various HR matters, such as performance management, employee relations, learning and development, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement.
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of data.
Prepare and analyse HR reports and metrics, such as turnover, open roles, absenteeism, headcount, and diversity.
Proactively supports the delivery of HR Projects and Processes
Assist in the development and review of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with the company's vision, values, and goals.
Initiate, lead or participate in a broad range of projects and initiatives such as employee surveys, recognition programs, and wellness activities.
Stay updated on the latest HR trends and best practices and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a HR role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Excellent knowledge of Irish employment law and HR practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
Proficient in MS Office and HR software.
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for HR and people development.
