Job Description - HRIS Senior Analyst Workday (In-house)

You will be a subject matter expert and trusted consultant for Workday, with a focus on the Recruitment module, supporting 2,500+ employees across Deloitte Ireland. Reporting to the Head of HR Tech & Operations, you’ll work with a dedicated HRIS team to optimize our talent acquisition processes, ensure system health, and drive continuous improvement across our Workday platform.

This role offers extensive scope to excel in delivering best-practice Workday solutions across multiple modules while building strategic partnerships across HR and business teams.

What type of work will I be doing?

  • Configure and optimize Workday modules with expertise across Recruitment, Core HCM, Security, and other modules to meet evolving business requirements

  • Provide expert system support including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and day-to-day maintenance of Workday functionality across multiple modules

  • Lead requirements gathering and translation with HR and business stakeholders to define functional and technical specifications

  • Manage data integrity and security across Workday, ensuring compliance with data protection requirements and organizational policies

  • Conduct quality assurance and testing for new Workday features and enhancements, including test script creation and execution

  • Support system integrations between Workday and other HR systems or third-party applications to ensure seamless data flow

  • Deliver end-user training and documentation to maximize adoption and effective use of Workday across the organization

  • Participate in Workday upgrades and maintenance including testing, validation, and optimization of system enhancements

Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field

  • Proficiency in Workday configuration across multiple modules (Core HCM, Recruitment, Compensation, Performance, or similar)

  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes including job requisitions, candidate management, and offer workflows

  • Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and security

Desirable

  • Workday certification (Recruitment, Core HCM, or other modules)

  • Experience with additional Workday modules such as Talent Management, Performance Management, or Payroll

  • Familiarity with HRIS best practices and HR technology trends

  • Experience supporting production systems and managing organizational change

  • Experience with Workday integrations and advanced reporting capabilities
