The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrician to join our company and gain a skill set within the renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities include:

• Installation of cable containment, mains and control cables, including glanding and termination.


• Commissioning of commercial Solar PV systems, including testing and fault-finding.


• Installation, maintenance and servicing of Solar PV systems across commercial and ground-mounted projects.


• Conducting site surveys for potential commercial Solar PV installations.


• Supervising and coordinating subcontractors on site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to a high standard.


• Liaising with customers and project teams throughout installations and providing advice on works being undertaken.


• Completing all required installation, commissioning and maintenance documentation.


• Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures, company policies and industry standards at all times. 

Qualifications/Key Skills:

• Electrical Background/Trade or relevant industry experience is essential


• Commercial or industrial project experience necessary preferably in Renewable/ Solar PV or Utilities projects.


• High degree of accuracy required in detail and presentation


• Previous experience of working within a similar, fast-paced environment which involved resolving queries and successful delivery of projects


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels within an organisation.


• Strict attention to detail


• Ability to work off own initiative and self-motivated in identifying new business.


• Strong organisational skills with proven ability to meet tight deadlines
