Intermediate Quantity Surveyor - Construction Contractor - Dublin

Job Description

Our client is a main buildings contractor working on a wide variety of projects in the commercial, healthcare and educational sectors.

You will be working on a refurbishment of an existing building into an aparthotel within Dublin city centre. Project valueca€55M. An intermediate Quantity Surveyor is required with experience working on Dublin centre projects and have strong knowledge of Irish regulations.

Requirements

Degree in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying or similar

Ca4+ years experience working with main contractors

Ability to QS / Price projects / deal with interim payments / valuations / negotiation with sub contractors / agree final accounts

Knowledge of varying Irish Forms of Contracts and Contract Procedures and Protocol 

Competent in all forms of surveying packages, Microsoft Excel, Buildsoft - Cubit an advantage

Strong communication and interpersonal skills dealing with design team / client/ meetings etc.

Previous experience working on high quality medium - large-scale public and private contracts in various sectors Industrial / Health / Pharma / Commercial / Education.
