Inventory Planner

• Oversee stock control operations, ensuring all movements are accurately recorded and systems remain up to date.
  
• Lead and support the Stock Controller, setting priorities, providing guidance, and managing performance.
  
• Act as the escalation point for discrepancies, investigating variances and implementing corrective actions.
  
• Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure efficient goods -in, storage, and dispatch processes, with strong organisation and space utilisation.
  
• Support stock counts, audits, and ensure accuracy across ERP and warehouse systems.
  
• Provide hands -on operational support when needed, including cover for the Stock Controller and assistance during peak periods.
  
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, promoting safe and organised working practices.
  
• Monitor performance through reporting and KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve stock accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with business needs.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in a stock control or inventory planning role in the manufacturing or logistics industry.
