Investment Associate

We have partnered with an international Private Equity fund to hire an Investment Associate for its Dublin -based investment team. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to contribute to strategic investments and play a role in active asset management. 

Responsibilities include:

• Researching and analysing financial statements, industry information, technical and financial data and presenting conclusions to investment team members
  
• Developing and critically reviewing, stress testing and commenting on financial models
  
• Synthesizing key findings from research, financial analysis and meetings with industry, co -investors and external advisors into investment memoranda and presentations
  
• Participating in presenting investment findings to investment committees
  
• Researching prospective industries to develop industry theses and assisting in generating investment ideas
  

Required:

• At least 3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity or a similar field
  
• Experience in or knowledge of the infrastructure sectors is considered a plus
  
• An undergraduate or post -graduate degree in business, engineering or other quantitative fields
  
• Proven strong analytical, quantitative and financial modelling skills with attention to detail
  
• European languages are beneficial
