Junior Graphic Designer

CHARLES HUGHES, Ireland's leading supplier of Portwest workwear and outdoor leisurewear is currently seeking applications for the position of Junior Graphic Designer. Role is based on site at our head office, Westport, Co. Mayo.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will work with a range of stakeholders including colleagues in Marketing and Sales as well as external print companies to deliver engaging content. Among the responsibilities of this position include:

• Asset Creation: Produce high-quality, on-brand graphics for digital, print, and social media platforms.


• Design Support: Assist with layout design, image editing, photo retouching, and template creation.


• Project Execution: Follow design briefs to deliver projects, including marketing materials, reports, and presentations.


• Collaboration: Work under the guidance of senior colleagues, incorporating feedback to improve designs.


• Asset Management: Maintain and organize digital asset libraries.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree, or equivalent qualification, in graphic design.


• 0 - 2 years experience in a similar role


• High level of proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, In-Design, Photoshop


• An understanding of both digital and print production.
