Your mission

Join eDesk as a Junior Graphic Designer (contract) and unleash your creativity while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive work environment. Your mission will be to collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling visual content that enhances our brand identity and engages our audience across various platforms.

As a Junior Graphic Designer (contract), you can learn about the career in graphic design that you are aspiring to in a hands-on environment. You will get to participate in design team meetings, help with design projects and social media, conduct client research, and collaborate with experienced designers. 

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design and production of marketing materials, including social media graphics, performance ads and email campaigns.

Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop innovative design concepts that align with project goals and objectives.

Create visually appealing assets for web and mobile interfaces, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.

Support the development of visual elements for presentations, reports, and other corporate communications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality designs within designated timelines.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve design quality and effectiveness.

Your profile

Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.

Strong proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout techniques.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively articulate creative ideas and concepts.

Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and pixel-perfect design execution.

Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Portfolio showcasing creative projects and design work (academic or personal projects are acceptable).

Skills

Graphic Design:  Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to create designs for both print and digital mediums.

Creativity: Ability to think outside the box and generate innovative design solutions that captivate and resonate with the target audience.

Collaboration: Strong team player with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback into design iterations.

Time Management: Excellent organisational skills to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Adaptability: Willingness to embrace feedback and adapt to evolving project requirements and design trends.
