We are seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join The Wine Cellar team. Reporting directly to the Head Chef of The Wine Cellar you will form an important part of the kitchen team.
Responsibilities
Work collabaritely with the Head Chef of The Wine Cellar
Prepare pizzas from our menu and also custom orders
Preparing appetisers for groups
Monitor food stock, maintain supplies and place orders as and when required
Prepare pizza dough, fresh sauces and pizza toppings/accompaniments
Maintain clean cooking station and equipment
Supporting The Wine Cellar kitchen team during service
Other reasonable duties which may be assigned from time to time
The Person
Previous experience as a chef
Enthusiastic, friendly, professional and approachable
Passionate about food and high quality ingredients
Ability to communicate well with and work harmoniously with other staff and management team
Flexibility regarding working hours, particularly around weekends and stock delivery days
