The Role:
The Portfolio team supports the effective management of the delivery of the IDD investment programme by ensuring governance and control through data management and systems, processes and performance reporting and analysis including the management of planning, land, wayleave, utility, and statutory consents. This enables efficient delivery of the investment programme by providing programme visibility, informed risk management, analysis, challenge, and decision making. The team also provides expert support in key areas that enable the effective, efficient, and sustainable delivery of the IDD investment portfolio. The Portfolio team supports the effective management of the delivery of the IDD investment programme by ensuring governance and control through data management and systems, processes and performance reporting and analysis. This enables efficient delivery of the investment programme by providing programme visibility, informed risk management, analysis, challenge and decision making. The team also provides expert support in key areas that enable the effective, efficient and sustainable delivery of the IDD investment portfolio.
Reporting to the Land and Wayleaves Technical Lead, the Land and Wayleaves Coordinator will support the activities associated with land and Wayleave acquisition by consent and/or Compulsory Acquisition Procedures together with various assignments in connection with wayleaves related activities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and issue Land and Wayleave packages for Infrastructure Delivery
Liaise with Engineers / project delivery staff / legal advisors on queries raised by landowners.
Respond to queries raised by landowners/tenants and/or their professional advisors.
Document and maintain Land and Wayleaves policies, processes & procedures.
Ensure that required legal and governance signoffs required to process land and wayleave acquisitions are in place.
Process information requests made by Solicitors, Valuers, Agronomists etc.
Assist in the preparation of evidence and documentation for oral hearings, court injunctions and general legal proceedings.
Process payments of compensation, professional fees, license costs and other costs associated with Land and Wayleaves processes.
Liaise directly with landowners and their professional advisors.
Liaise with Government Departments, Commission for Regulation of Utilities, Statutory Bodies, Foreshore Unit, Local Authorities, An Bord Pleanála etc.
Liaise with Legal Advisors/Valuers/Engineers/Agronomist and other Professional advisors.
Assist in the maintenance and updating of the Land and Wayleave Database, Electronic Document Management System and Filing System for Infrastructure Delivery wayleaves.
Raise risks and issues as appropriate.
Process incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Be responsible for promoting and delivering health and safety commitments across UÉ and its supply chain, reinforcing positive behaviours and delivering against health and safety objectives and requirements to the highest industry standards.
Support the delivery of the Uisce Éireann Transformation Programme driving results required within the Directorate and supporting organisation wide objectives.
General Duties and Responsibilities
Collaboration with key internal stakeholders across the UÉ business and relevant stakeholders.
Responsible for promoting and delivering health and safety commitments across UÉ and its supply chain, reinforcing positive behaviours and delivering health and safety objectives and requirements to the highest industry standards.
Support the delivery of the Uisce Éireann Transformation Programme, driving results required within the Directorate and supporting organisation-wide objectives.
Conducts duties and responsibilities in accordance with Uisce Éireann’s Information Security policies, standards, processes and controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of UÉ business information, and delivery of critical services, in accordance with the NIS Directive and any other relevant cybersecurity regulation.
Other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Relevant third level qualification and or accreditation is desirable and or relevant experience
Min 1-year relevant Experience in a similar role in the water, utilities or similar industries is desirable
Proactive, with ability to work on own initiative and with others to ensure success in the performance of a team
Proven effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise and remain focused
Proven ability to create and develop good working relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals, coupled with the ability to gain commitment from others
Strong Computer skills with a proficient working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to analyse customer needs and provide support to resolve issues
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues and look for different perspectives
Track record of complying with organisational policies and encouraging others to do the same
Track record of striving for quality and ensuring consistently high standards of work
Proven track record in raising safety concerns and helping to find solutions
