Job Description - Lead HSE Advisor

Role: Lead HSE Advisor

Client: Main Contractor

Essentials: Level 7 or equivalent qualification in Health & Safety, 3+ years in construction Health and Safety.

Location: South Dublin

Salary: Up to €65,000

Package: Company Car, Annual Bonus, Pension, Clear Progression Opportunities

Reporting to: Health and Safety Manager

Promote a positive HS&E culture focused on prevention, wellbeing, and environmental best practice.

Ensure employees and subcontractors comply with all health, safety, and workplace regulations.

Deliver HS&E guidance through inductions, toolbox talks, mentoring, and safety communications.

Conduct site inspections, accident investigations, and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.

Maintain accident, incident, and dangerous occurrence records.

Review and approve RAMS, SPAs, and other safety documentation.

Liaise with site management teams to ensure health and safety compliance across projects.

Lead safety meetings and support ongoing behavioural and cultural improvement initiatives.

Monitor compliance through audits and inspections, acting as the company representative when required.

Assist in the development and implementation of risk assessments and safe working procedures.
