Leisure Operations Manager

Carr Golf is a market leading golf services company specialising in providing tailored business development solutions to client, leased and operated golf clubs to drive their businesses forward. We currently wish to recruit an Operations Manager, for a new and exciting multi leisure facility based in Naas, Co. Kildare.

This role has a Customer Care focus, will involve administrative tasks, and will suit someone with a customer focused background who has a passion for golf. You preferably will have experience working in a pro shop on a golf course or have a strong knowledge and passion for the game.

Our revamped facility, when completed, promises a top-notch golf entertainment experience for everyone. It will include a fully licensed cafe with outdoor terrace seating and in-bay dining, offering a variety of beverage options, several floodlit football pitches, padel courts and Pitch & Putt.

As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the daily operations and creating a first class customer experience . Your responsibilities will include coordinating staff, deliver a quality F&B service, maintaining equipment, co-ordinating groups and events and implementing safety protocols.

This position requires an energetic individual with leadership skills, operational knowledge, and customer service expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Staff Management:

• Recruit, train, and supervise staff


• Create and maintain work schedules.


• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.


• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

F&B Operations

• Deliver a quality and efficient food and beverage service to customers.


• Modify Menu options


• Maintain food standards and cleanliness according to procedures 


• Ensure industry standards are met 


• Assist in food preparation and delivery


• Monitor/Manage F&B stock orders efficiently 

Customer Service:

• Greet customers, address inquiries, and ensure a positive experience.


• Co-ordinate group bookings and events


• Monitor customer needs and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction.


• Handle customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.

Operational Oversight:

• Ensure the entire facility is properly set up for daily operations.


• Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate maintenance as needed.


• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.


• Oversee ball retrieval operations and coordinate with maintenance staff.

Financial Management:

• Assist in developing and managing the budget across all operations.


• Monitor revenue streams and identify opportunities for improvement.


• Control operating costs to maximize profitability.

Marketing and Promotions:

• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement promotional activities.


• Identify opportunities for partnerships or sponsorships to enhance revenue.


• Provide input on marketing materials and initiatives.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee the inventory of golf balls, equipment, and supplies.


• Monitor usage and reorder supplies as necessary.


• Implement efficient inventory control practices.
