4. Site Layout & Material Storage

  • Define and enforce designated storage zones, delivery areas, and traffic routes.

  • Manage overflow material and off-site storage locations where required.

  • Update site layout plans in collaboration with the Site Manager and Safety team.

5. Safety and Compliance

  • Ensure logistics operations fully comply with site-specific safety protocols.

  • Prevent material and plant movements through active work zones.

  • Confirm all operators are certified and liaise with the H&S team on compliance.

6. Communication & Coordination

  • Hold daily logistics briefings with site operatives and subcontractors.

  • Maintain open communication with PMs, Supervisors, and subcontractors.

  • Report logistics-related risks, issues, or non-conformances promptly.

  • Maintain contingency plans (e.g., buffer stock, alternate delivery routes).

8. Project Close-Out

  • Manage return of all plant and equipment to suppliers.

  • Coordinate removal or handover of remaining materials per project policy.

  • Support demobilisation activities and prepare final material inventory documentation.
