The job that is available is a twelve month contract position.  It requires full-time hours from Monday to Friday inclusive.  You will work as a Logistics & Operations Coordinator and you will be based in Shannon. You are a person who enjoys working in an established organisation with a pleasant work environment.

You will be office-based in this role five days per week. There are no hybrid working arrangements available in this job.

The following list is not exhaustive. The job will involve the following responsibilities, amongst others:

  • Oversee the flow of products within the business from goods received into shipping and inventory control right through to transportation and final delivery
  • Ensure processes run smoothly and where they don't run smoothly, you will identify the obstacles internally and work towards improving internal processes to remove or minimise the impact of those obstacles to ensure optimum efficiencies are achieved
  • Become familiar with any customs clearance issues occurring and work with colleagues globally to resolve or improve
  • Produce reports relating to the department as required and use to analyse business operations in the area

In order to ensure you are selected for consideration for this job opportunity, you must have the following:

  • Have a third level degree in a business related area
  • Have a minimum of two years experience within a manufacturing organisation
  • Have experience with using an ERP system such as SAP or Oracle
  • Have a proven track record in working cross functionally and have the expected levels of communication skills and leadership skills

The hourly pay rate on offer is €20 per hour worked.  You will be eligible for annual leave of 25 days per annum pro-rated from day one of employment.  Auto enrolment pension will be in place from day one also.
