Mainframe Developer - COBOL IMS DB2

The Role

• Design, develop, maintain, and test new and existing software features.
• Lead complex development tasks and contribute to estimation and planning.
• Write clean, well‑documented code and support automated and manual testing.
• Collaborate daily with the agile team, reporting progress and impediments.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, UX Designers, Test Engineers, and Technical Support to ensure smooth delivery.
• Participate in code reviews and retrospectives, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Support proof‑of‑concepts, prototyping, and adherence to architectural standards.
• Keep ALM tools updated and ensure transparency on project status.
• Focus on delivering customer value and enhancing user experience.

What you offer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.

Technical Skills

Required:

• COBOL, IMS, DB2, JCL, VSAM
